Business English Communication for Wine Professionals. One-day, full immersion
workshops; open to the public. They may be taken individually or as part of a
coordinated wine-themed program. Hospitality
English: Hospitality Management for the Tasting Room. When people come to
a restaurant or the winery tasting room, they come for an experience, for hospitality.
These two related workshops offer advice and techniques that can be used in the
daily interaction with customers to provide genuine hospitality and increase sales.
Available in two customizable versions: Essential English for Beverage and
Foodservice and Essential English for Hotel and Restaurant Staff. |
These workshops are in themselves guides that show how to accomplish the goal
of presenting and selling wine, and provide a structure that will allow you to
create 'a buying atmosphere' in the restaurant/the tasting room. They teach how
to ask appropriate questions, recognize the customer's needs, customize the
overall wine experience/presentation, identify and accommodate different types
of customers. We also instruct how to establish brand recognition and create a
sense of place. Workshops are open to the public; no application is required.
Communication, (social) media and writing with a culinary focus. These workshops focus on Communication and the fundamentals of (social) media applications and platforms that facilitate communication, interaction and information-sharing in the wine and hospitality business.
